I try the giant quesobirria taco, it was pretty good didn't disappoint, I was disappointed on the agua Fresca de piña, tasted like it was already getting rotten and to top it off no refills very skimpy with their drinks, so please make sure you guys make fresh agua Fresca, and have the options of a large or extra large drink to accompany a large meal ,I would go back only if someone alse pays lol but over all the giant quesobirria was good .

So I was very impressed with the shrimp tacos. The food was top knotch. The Agua de Frescas were delicious. $7.00 is a bit steep priced for a large drink and $5.00 a taco is steep as well but the quality of both were good. Overall, I will get the tacos again but might skip the Agua de frescas.

Con Sabor definitely got the best birria tacos in San Jose! They've been a strong top three favorite taco spot of mine for quite a while now. My boyfriend was the one that put me on years ago. It's crazy to have conversations together now, since we practically witnessed the owner's gradual, local success. Now, he's known for his viral giant birria taco that's attracted a lot of attention on social media. Okay, so why I don't play about this place? First, the San Carlos (original) location is such a vibe. It got that San Jose aesthetic and with a good amount of outdoor seating, it's a cute lil date to have some tacos and just to be outside. I've also had their tacos when they were previously posted on Commercial Street as well as 13th. The food never disappointed at these locations either. Haven't had them recently but I seen that they have a truck located on Berryessa now. When I originally first started coming here, I would get the birria tacos. Literally the most authentic, flavorful birria tacos you're ever going to try. The tortilla is doused in that broth that's used for the consommé, and goddamn.. is all I can say. The birria itself always tastes savory and pairs so well with the consommé. Drown that thing in the consommé when you're eating your taco. Also, their salsa is hella bomb. It do got some heat to it, but I personally enjoy it. More recently now, my go-to order is their loaded Baja tacos, which is an elevated birria taco with cheese, birria, and shrimp. Basically a surf and turf. Another reason what draws me and my boyfriend back specifically, too, is their horchata. As someone who religiously loves horchata, they got one of the best horchatas in my opinion. At times it does take a while to wait for the food to be done, but I always see it as it's worth it, especially when the food is good. Hats off to Con Sabor for being one of San Jose's very best taco spots.

This place is phenomenal. Pro's and Cons It's pricy...But it's worth it! The Giant Quesabirria taco was as advertised on Social media and this did not disappoint. It fed 2 big people...if you know what I mean! ;) I'm ordering again today. You can use the Giant taco as a sampler amongst friends, and split the cost if you just wanna try the place. I'm going to order the 3 Birria tacos today because I'm going back by myself. Oh and don't forget the consume haha almost forgot.... It's good my wife's is better, but hey Mexicans don't really make birria every day, it's a specialty dishes for like gatherings so...maybe that's why us Mexicans love Mexican food spots because we can get the same food that would take 2-3 hours of labor and create a crazy hot house cooking that long. Grateful for the wife for not doing that everyday. Anyways...try this. You won't regret it! Constructive criticism...Focus on the consume to curb the tomato juice taste...it's different, not bad, but it's a bit weird. Oh and the agua Fresca is on point! I mixed Piña with Pepino/lemón.
